The 2nd Annual Free Bay Area Kids’ Book Fair is happening this weekend, October 14-15, 2017. The event will be indoors and open from 10 am–3 pm with free admission and free parking.
The first 200 families will get a free goody bag. Register for a free family ticket and you will receive one $2 Book Buck when you check in to use on your 1st purchase at the Book Fair. Please note, you do not need a ticket for admission.
- October 14 – Silicon Valley Edition (register)
- October 15 – East Bay Edition (register)
The inaugural Kids’ Book Fairs in 2016 were a huge success. The Bay Area has a rich history of writers, illustrators, world-renowned educational institutions and innovative technological advances, all of which will be featured at the fair.
There will be a storytelling all day, free photo booth and other free activities for attendees. Some all-time favorite characters from books and movies to meet and greet including Pete the Cat, Clifford the Big Red Dog, The Very Hungry Caterpilar and Curious George.
Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate to the Food Bank. They will receive a free raffle ticket for each donated can. Admission and parking each day is free to the general public.
